There’s the Avon U (University) training that is free to you once you sign up to sell Avon. The training courses are fun and interactive and best of all, you do them at your own pace. A lot of Avon Representatives work and sell Avon. I fall into that category and it works very well for me. I find that because Avon makes it so easy for us to be successful, I can easily fit it into my life style. Since I am my own boss, I decide what hours I work my Avon business. Who doesn’t love that?! With the Social Media Center, Avon has created pre-made posts that you can use or schedule ahead of time on Social Media. Best of all, they are connected to your Avon account so there’s no need to enter your URL as the posts are all ready connected to you! When someone clicks on your posts, they will be directly connected to your website! I told you Avon makes it easy! Of course you will have to do some of the work which means, handing out catalogs, delivering orders and following up with your customers and also checking in on them once in a while to see if they are ready to re-order their favorite products. There are times when I am having a “me” weekend and I not out talking to or dropping off catalogs to my customers when I simply send a text saying “Hi this is Annette, I noticed your face cream is on sale for $19.99, are you ready to re-order?” and I will get a response “Yes, thank you so much for letting me know, please order it for me” – I have a customer who loves our fragrances and a few weeks ago I texted her to let her know they were on sale for $20 (the regular price is $30) she texted back asking for me to order her 9 bottles! That’s how easy it can be! Good communication is key to being successful selling Avon. Customers love to feel special. If you go the extra mile, they will be very loyal!!
My #1 tip to being a successful Avon Representative is, ALWAYS follow up with your customers! If they received a brochure from you directly, it’s critical that you follow up with them to ask what they would like to order. My customers thank me all the time for the reminders. I simply let them know that I will be submitting my Avon order in a few days and want to find out what products they want to order.
